Humanitarian Media Center-HMC issues a report on the reality and needs of education in the Gaza Strip.

Humanitarian Media Center in Gaza issued a new report entitled “The Reality and Needs of Education in the Gaza Strip.” coinciding with International Literacy Day.

The report aims to highlight the keen interest of the Palestinian people in learning, enhanced by the low rate of illiteracy in Palestine to less than 1% compared to the difficulties in the educational sector.

The report dealt with the challenges that faced the education sector and students in schools which are preventing the advancement of the educational process in its natural form, especially with the continuation of the siege imposed on the Strip.

These needs and percentages had based on information obtained by the Humanitarian Media Center from reliable sources and official bodies mentioned in the report.
